1) Peel the pineapple and cut it into 4 equal cubes.
2) Place a piece of pineapple on top of a serving dish and top with an ant. Serve immediately.

My husband says the flavor of ants is similar to citrus so I imagine the flavor an ant and pineapple would be complementary. But I have to agree with you.The recipe presents itself as decidedly random and silly.
