A 1917 wild food book

For 75UK Pounds 'The wild foods of Great Britain' can book can be yours today on Ebay: that's a bit much for me but these three pictures make up the deficit. It was published in 1917 so that is nice and early.

Crannog Cryptoforestry

Crannog, Neolithic artificial island, found splattered across Ireland and Scotland in their hundreds. There is one in Wales too. Cryptoforests 1000 years after. Had prepared a post in which each picture had a source and a location, but Blogger ate the post and I can't be motivated to do it again.
